The CMU INFORMS Student Chapter is excited to announce the 2021 YinzOR Student Conference, held virtually on August 28th, 2021, 11am to 5:30pm EST. YinzOR is a single-track, student-centered conference that brings together PhD students studying OR, OM, IE, ChemE, CS and related areas, to facilitate interaction and collaboration with peers.

Talks
This year, we are pleased to have speakers from Cornell University, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, University of Texas at Austin, University of Southern California, Northwestern University and Google Research.
Short Video Competition
We are hosting a short video competition open to all PhD students in related fields. Submit a short video (up to 5 minutes) about any piece of research that you find exciting! The top three videos will win a cash prize of $100. Submit your videos on the Video Competition Page.
Job Market Panel
Curious about how the job market works for PhD students in your area? We have invited a host of panelists from diverse backgrounds to describe their experiences and answer your questions!
Social Pairings
Interact with other student participants and Professors in your area during our designated social time. Sign up for a slot and you will be grouped with others to chat during the lunch break.
