I am so excited to be part of the INFORMS community! :) My name is Emily Lindblad and I will be attending the University of Michigan in the fall to pursue my Masters in Industrial Operations Engineering. My interests are in healthcare applications and I am hoping INFORMS will aid in my exploration of the research in this area as well as expose me to other applications that I am not as familiar with.
My fun fact is that I have four dogs!

Welcome to INFORMS! Many years ago, I visited Budapest when I was a student doing an internship in Europe, and I still remember how amazing it was. In addition to the beauty and history, I also remember the wonderful restaurants serving goulash and the beautiful live music with violins. I hope to visit again someday.
Please make sure to check out our communities within INFORMS, https://www.informs.org/Communities, I trust you will find several that align with your interests.
