Econometrics department at Erasmus University Rotterdam is looking for a postdoc candidate to join the Operations Research and Logistics group. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in operations research and programming skills. The research topic focuses on synchromodal logistics systems. We aim at developing a real-time synchromodal planning algorithm capable of solving real case problems. We also want to integrate self-learning mechanism to introduce recovery strategies in case of small scale disturbances. The selected candidate will closely work with our industrial partners.
