    Dear colleagues,

We are happy to announce that the 2019 Early-career Sustainable Operations Workshop will be held on March 1st – 3rd, 2019 at the School of Business, University of San Diego. The workshop aims to provide research presentation and networking opportunities (both within academia and with industry) for early-career scholars who work in sustainable OM.

The program will follow a format similar to the previous years. There will be a reception on Friday night, followed by a full day of presentations and panels on Saturday, and then a half day of presentations on Sunday. For logistics planning convenience and per survey results of the last workshop, there will be a registration fee of $100 for the workshop.

The organizing committee includes Luyi Gui (University of California Irvine), Yen-Ting Lin (University of San Diego), Adem Orsdemir (University of California Riverside). We plan to schedule 6-8 presentations on Saturday and 3-4 presentations on Sunday. We are inviting junior academics (untenured faculty) and PhD students who are interested in presenting to submit a 1-page abstract or a working paper, if one is available, to 2019SustainableOM@gmail.com by October 05, 2018. A strong preference will go to working papers that can be distributed to discussants/readers. Notice of acceptances will be sent by November 5, 2018. In addition, a "People's Choice Award" will be given this year. The winner(s) will be decided by crowd voting at the end of the workshop. All presented papers are eligible for the award.

We would appreciate if you could fill out the following very brief survey so that we can get a better sense of the attendance numbers and the likely number of paper submissions,
