    Dear all,


    The Mathematics Department at the University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking candidates for an instructor position beginning January 2021. We seek individuals dedicated to high-quality teaching, including on-campus and/or online. The successful candidates will teach 4 courses per semester. This position is for a minimum of three semesters: Spring 2021, Fall 2021, and Spring 2022. Responsibilities will be to teach upper-level undergraduate and graduate data science courses, supervise data science master's projects, and collaborate with other data science faculty in engaging with community partners. Qualified candidates should have one of the following: (1) Doctoral degree in mathematics, statistics, or closely related field; or (2) Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, or closely related field with at least five years relevant industry experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed their doctorate.
