Call for Papers: Special Issue of Networks on Arc Routing Problems and Other Related Topics

Deadline for manuscript submission: November 15, 2019 (early submissions are encouraged)

This special issue is associated with WARP3, the 3rd International Workshop on Arc Routing Problems which took place in Pizzo (Calabria, Italy) on May 27-29, 2019. WARP3 was organized by the Department of Mechanical, Energy and Management Engineering and by the Department of Economics, Statistics and Finance "Giovanni Anania" of the University of Calabria. It followed the first workshop held in Copenhagen in May 2013 and the second workshop held in Lisbon in May 2016, with the aim of strengthening the international network. Specifically, researchers and practitioners with an interest in Arc Routing had the opportunity to share their latest research activities and ideas with the rest of the community.

Manuscripts focusing on Arc Routing Problems and strongly related problems (e.g., General Routing Problems and Arc Sectoring Problems) are welcome. The submission of manuscripts dealing with Vehicle (or Node) Routing Problems is also encouraged. The special issue is not restricted to talks that were presented at WARP3 or to authors that attended the event. The issue is open to the entire Routing Community and gathers contributions on theoretical issues, methodological aspects and applications of interest for its members.

Manuscripts can be submitted by sending an email to warp3@unical.it (subject "Special Issue - Networks"). These manuscripts must not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere. They will be refereed through a peer‐review process, in accordance with the standard procedures of Networks.
