    The Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago (Chicago, Illinois) invites applications for postdoctoral Principal Researcher (PR) positions. The PR will tackle research problems in one of the following areas under the supervision of Prof. Baris Ata:

    • Healthcare Analytics
    • Theoretical and Computational Analysis of Stochastic Networks and their Applications

    This position is structured to prepare the PR to transition to a faculty position at a major research institution. The PR is expected to be independently motivated to execute high-quality research in a collaborative environment. A successful candidate should have a PhD in Operations Management, Operations Research, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. Candidates interested in Healthcare Analytics should be proficient in Machine Learning and Basic Econometrics.

    Term of appointment will be two years with competitive salary and benefits, either to start as soon as possible or in summer 2022. Review of applications is happening now, on a rolling basis.
