Business Analytics Lecturer
The quant group at Babson College (Wellesley, MA) has a number of exciting new and on-going opportunities: a reimagined undergraduate core, rapidly increasing demand for quantitative electives, and sustained growth in business analytics across all programs. To capitalize on these developments, the Mathematics and Science Division of Babson College invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track lecturer appointment to begin fall semester 2022. The lecturer will teach six course-sections per academic year. Some of these sections may be from our two semester undergraduate sequence that includes business statistics along with some topics from simulation, optimization, and predictive modeling with R. The lecturer will also likely have the chance to teach introductory quantitative methods courses in any of our several master's degree programs, or higher level undergraduate or graduate courses. The successful candidate will show potential for outstanding teaching in applied statistics, analytics, or related decision science topics and a passion for developing and delivering innovative quantitative courses for undergraduate and graduate business students. The winning candidate will also have an active professional career, which may include traditional discipline-specific research, the scholarship of learning and teaching, or quantitative consulting.
The successful candidate will join our division which includes thirteen tenured or tenure-track faculty, four full-time lecturers, and several part-time instructors. We seek a colleague who

A Ph.D. degree in an appropriate quantitative field is preferred but candidates with a master's degree and relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
