    The George Washington University School of Business (GWSB) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor Rank in the Department of Information Systems and Technology Management (ISTM), beginning August 2022. Salary and benefits are competitive. The successful candidate is expected to (1) conduct high-quality research that leads to publications in "A" journals and (2) teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels. 

     

    The George Washington University is situated in the heart of Washington, DC, just few blocks from the White House and the National Mall. The School of Business enrolls about 1,500 undergraduate and 1,600 graduate students and has a regular full-time faculty numbering approximately 125. The ISTM Department offers a variety of degree programs, including B.S. in IS and M.S. in IST, and gradate certificates, including Artificial Intelligence, Management of Technology and Innovation, and Cloud, Applications and Information Technology Certificates.  

     

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Applicants for this position must have completed all requirements for the Ph.D. or other terminal degree in business, computer science, engineering or a closely related field by the date of appointment. Applicants must have a record of teaching excellence in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields as evidenced by letters of reference, teaching evaluations or assessments, and research productivity consistent with experience level.
