I am pleased to announce that the Industrial and Operations Engineering department at the University of Michigan will be hosting a Graduate School workshop in Ann Arbor, MI, on September 21st, 2019.

Applicants do not have to be majoring in engineering; students with Computer Science, Math, Physics, Statistics, and other backgrounds are welcome.)This interactive day-long workshop is targeted at undergraduate students and others who are within 1–2 years of applying to graduate programs. It would allow the attendees to
- Learn about latest research in Industrial and Operations Engineering and student life directly from faculty and current students
- Explore professional opportunities in our field beyond graduation, and tour our department and campus
- Find out about graduate school applications, the admissions process, and funding
- Attend mixers and panel discussions with other prospective students and PhD students, faculty, and staff from our department.
Acceptance into the workshop will be competitive, and requires an application to be submitted no later than July 31, 2019.
All applicants selected to attend will have their travel and lodging costs covered.
