1 As the new Editor of INFORMS Analytics Collections (IAC), formerly Editor's Cut, I am pleased to announce that this publication is now receiving proposals for Collections.

2 In this activity, I am supported by an outstanding Editorial Board:

    Damian Beil, University of Michigan

    Saif Benjaafar, University of Minnesota

    Manoj Chari, Otis Worldwide Corporation

    Jim Cochran, University of Alabama

    Gül Ege, SAS Institute

Panos Kouvelis, Washington University in St. Louis

    Susan Lu, Purdue University,

    Ivan Oliveira, Amazon.com

    Olga Raskina, Celgene Corporation

3 Here is the mission statement of IAC:

"INFORMS Analytics Collections is the preeminent collection of industry-focused innovations and applications in advanced analytics and operations research. Compiled by INFORMS experts, these collections explore relevant analytical insights, issues, and trends through multimedia, complete with free access to INFORMS content. Addressing both academics and practitioners, each Collection seeks to introduce readers to valuable content related to applications, research, and teaching".

Less formally, the objectives of IAC are to use its unique multimedia platform to:

    (a) demonstrate connections between applications that create value in currently high priority, high impact focus areas and academic research innovations, and

    (b) thereby enhance the impact of the work of INFORMS members.

As you can see, there are 16 volumes which were published by the previous Editor, Anne Robinson. I would like to recognize Anne's exceptional vision and dedication in starting this publication in 2014, and in fostering this impactful content.

5 As part of the usual triennial publication review process, INFORMS conducted a member survey about this publication in 2020. Impressively, 214 members (155 academic, 37 practice, 22 "other") responded. The survey results were largely complimentary, and also provided some suggestions for possible improvement. I have met with the new Editorial Board to discuss how to implement those suggestions most effectively and to develop a strategic plan that is consistent with them.

7 Our intention is to publish several Collections of high impact advanced analytics work each year. Please submit your proposal, or contact me with any questions. We look forward to working with you.

    Thanks.
