    The International Conference on Computers and Industrial Engineering is a well-established conference that aims to gather researchers to disseminate and discuss state-of-the-art advancements in the areas of Computers, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, and Management. The first conference took place in 1976 in USA. The conference is sponsored by Computers & Industrial Engineering; an international journal published by Elsevier.

    The 50th Golden Jubilee conference will be held at Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology Campus, Alexandria, Egypt. The conference will witness the participation of distinguished speakers from all over the world in the different disciplines of Industrial Engineering, with keynote speeches from distinguished scientists in advanced topics.

    This year the conference theme will be "Sustainable and resilient systems for a smart dynamic world", emphasizing the important role industrial engineering will play in the future smart and dynamic world of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) to meet disruption challenges in a sustainable way.

    Conference proceedings carrying the ISSN identifier of 2164-8670 for the CD-ROM version and 2164-8689 for the online version. Both are also indexed in Scopus and EI Compendex The proceedings will be published by Curran & Associates, posted on the website https://www.computers-and-ie.org/

    Extended versions of selected articles will published in a special issue of ELSEVIER Computers and Industrial Engineering Journal (ISSN 0360-8352).
