    Dear Colleagues,

INFORMS JFIG (Junior Faculty Interest Group) invites you to a virtual panel discussion on "Medical & Clinical Collaborations in Healthcare: A Guide for Junior Faculty," which is to be held on Thursday, October 7th, 2021 at 2:15PM ET via Zoom. This panel interactively discusses medical and clinical collaborations by covering the several stages and aspects related to it. This includes how to approach doctors and other medical experts from academic or non-academic medical institutions, how to establish publication plans, when and how to initiate medical research grant proposals, how to manage funded healthcare projects, and how to maintain a successful medical/clinical collaboration. The session brings together the experiences, perspectives, and advice of faculty who have successfully established long-term medical and clinical collaborations across different healthcare applications. Time will be provided for open questions and answers.

It is our great honor to host an outstanding list of panelists who have graciously agreed to join us:

Prof. Oguzhan Alagoz, University of Wisconsin-Madison
Prof. Brian Denton, University of Michigan
Prof. Maria Mayorga, North Carolina State University
Prof. Steven Shechter, UBC Sauder School of Business

The details of the panel are included in the attached flyer. Click here to register the event.

    Sincerely,

Session chairs and moderators: Dr. Sait Tunc (Virginia Tech) and Dr. Manish Bansal (Virginia Tech).
