The department of Health Technology & Services Research (HTSR) of the University of Twente, the Netherlands, has a vacancy for a post-doc/assistant professor (depending on experience) to support research on optimizing the impact of novel technologies in healthcare.
In this research, quantitative methods for data analysis and simulation modelling are applied to estimate impact of innovations on clinical and health outcomes, quality and safety of health care, delivery of health care services, and the associated health care costs.
This research will further strengthen the link between the HTSR and the IEBIS (Industrial Engineering and Business Information Systems) departments of the University of Twente.
We welcome applications from individuals with a solid quantitative background such as, for example, industrial engineering, operational research, (medical) informatics, (health) economics, econometrics, or applied mathematics.
Expertise in health technology assessment / health economics is an advantage but not required.
