    The Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), Erasmus University invites applications for two open rank tenure-track faculty positions in Information Systems, starting September 2019. The positions are in the Department of Technology & Operations Management (section BIM - Business Information Management).

    We invite candidates with an appreciation for academic research linked to real-world problems to create impact both within the academic community and the business community. We seek candidates with a strong commitment to high-quality research and evidence of the ability to conduct impactful work and to publish in top journals. We would also expect the faculty member to play a key role in the Department's academic programs at the undergraduate, master, MBA, and PhD levels. The ideal candidate should have a PhD in information systems, marketing, economics, management and organization, computer science, management science, statistics or related fields. We are interested in candidates in all areas of IS research across all research methodologies. Preference will be given to candidates whose research complements on-going work in the department, particularly in the areas of business analytics, digital marketing, online platforms, technology-related innovation, and smart energy and mobility.

    RSM provides tenure-track faculty with an internationally outstanding research environment exemplified by a light teaching load and financial support for research activities. The position comes with a competitive salary that reflects local costs of living and includes a pension scheme, social security, and subsidies for health insurance.
