The Department of Decision, Operations, and Information Technologies at the Robert H. Smith School of Business is looking to hire one or more visiting assistant professors for the 2019-2020 academic year with the possibility of a one-year extension (subject to budgetary approval). Ideal candidates would have a Ph.D. in Operations Management/Operations Research/Industrial Engineering or related fields; and complementary research interests with those of faculty in the Management Science and Operations Management group. Our specific instructional needs are in teaching in a big data environment to Masters students. Thus candidates who can teach courses in Python, machine learning, big data and artificial intelligence are particularly encouraged to apply.
