The Decision Analysis Practice Award is sponsored jointly by the Decision Analysis Society (DAS) and the Society of Decision Professionals (SDP). It is given annually to the best decision analysis application, as judged by a panel of members of both Societies. The award includes a cash prize of $750 and assistance in getting the work published in a suitable journal, if the winner so desires. The winner of the Practice Award is also invited to present their work at the Decision Analysis Affinity Group conference the following spring.The finalists for the 2019 Award will present their work at the INFORMS Annual Conference in Seattle on Sunday, October 20, 1:30-3:00 pm (Session SC23), and the winner will be announced at the DAS awards session on Monday at 4:30 pm (Session MD23).
