The Operations and Information Management area at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, subject to budgetary approval, invites applications for a one-year post-doctoral fellowship in Sustainable Operations. This opportunity aims to encourage early-career scholars to pursue research on sustainability and provide opportunities for collaboration. The postdoc will primarily be expected to collaborate with faculty in Operations Management and other areas on new research projects related to sustainable operations. Candidates with research interests in environmental sustainability or social responsibility, especially with expertise or interest in behavioral operations or renewable-energy operations, are particularly encouraged to apply. While there are some well-defined projects under consideration by the faculty, there is flexibility to develop/explore other interesting research questions related to sustainability.

The post doc will be expected to begin in August 2019. In addition to salary and benefits, postdocs will be provided a budget for research/conference-related travel and expenses. During the fellowship, the fellow is expected to be in residence, work with faculty on research projects, and participate in research seminars.  More information about the Operations Management area at McDonough is available at https://msb.georgetown.edu/opim/faculty#.
