We are happy to announce that the 11th Triennial Symposium on Transportation Analysis conference (TRISTAN XI) will take place in Mauritius from June 19 to 26, 2022. The symposium is organized by Université Gustave Eiffel. The Tristan XI scientific program will be scheduled across five weekdays, with the middle day (Wednesday) dedicated to social networking and pleasant excursions. For 2022, we will offer an immersive experience at the Grand Baie. Mauritius, situated in the golden triangle connecting Asia, Africa and Australia, has the most amazing white coral sand beaches and crystal-clear lagoons, which contrast vividly with the backdrop of black volcanic mountains.
The TRISTAN symposium is an opportunity to showcase recent research and applications in transportation science. We are expecting over 300 academics, researchers and practitioners from around the world to convene to discuss mathematical models, methodologies and computational results, to exchange ideas, discuss trends and challenges, and initiate collaborations on advanced applications and technologies in transportation. Extended abstracts are welcome from August 1st, 2021 until October 15th, 2021 on topics across a broad range of fields related to transportation systems analysis and transportation science. Templates for submitting the abstracts will be found soon on the symposium website. The categories include but are not limited to:
- Logistics and Freight Transport
- Operations research applications in transportation
- Traffic Flow Models, Network Assignment, and Transport Network Economics
- ITS and Advanced Transportation Technologies
- Travel Demand/Behavior Modelling
- Modal and Intermodal Transport and management for people and freight
