    The Culverhouse College of Business at The University of Alabama invites applications for a tenured Operations Management (OM) faculty position at the associate/full professor rank with an expected start date of August 16, 2020 in the Department of Information Systems, Statistics, and Management Science.  Requests for a January 2020 start date may be considered.

    Candidates must hold a Doctorate in Operations Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field. An ideal candidate should demonstrate a proven ability to produce high-impact research and excel in undergraduate and graduate (M.S., MBA, and Ph.D.) teaching.  Candidates should have rigorous training in stochastic processes, simulation, and/or optimization. Research interests and experience in data-driven decision-making and analytics applied to health care operations, and/or health care decision-making are desirable. Candidates with other research interests are also encouraged to apply. Success at pursuing funded contracts and grants is desired. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and achievements.
