Old Dominion University (ODU) invites applications for tenure eligible faculty at the rank of assistant/associate professor in its Department of Engineering Management and Systems Engineering (EMSE) capable of contributing to our modeling and simulation supported systems engineering design and analysis thrust.
The Department: The EMSE department offers a variety of masters and doctoral degrees, as well an undergraduate minor, and certificates. It has been recognized numerous times by the American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM) for the quality of its graduate programs. EMSEsupports extensive research initiatives in areas related to engineering management and systems engineering.
Expectations:• Teach graduate and undergraduate level courses in EMSE, • Advise and mentor masters and doctoral students, • Develop substantial original and innovative research programs supported by external funding that generate publications and contribute to the scholarly recognition of the faculty, the department, and the college,• Collaborate in interdisciplinary groups, and with individuals in industry and government,• Be active, collegial, and contribute to EMSE's goal of providing continuous excellence in teaching, research, and service.More information is available at Engineering Management & Systems Engineering - Assistant Professor
