Dear MSOM Society Members:

INFORMS incorrectly listed some society meetings as in-person; please note that the in-person MSOM Society meeting time on Monday evening will be ONLY for MSOM Reception.  The MSOM Business Meeting will be hosted virtually on Monday at 6:30 AM PDT.  Please refer to the following reminder.  If you receive multiple identical reminders from MSOM officers these days, sorry for the redundancy but congratulations for being an excellent reader; we are just trying to reach as many society members as possible during this special year.  Enjoy the conference!

This is a reminder regarding three MSOM events that will be occurring at the upcoming INFORMS Annual meeting:

1. The MSOM Business Meeting will be held on Monday, October 25^th, 6:30 am – 7:45 am (Pacific). To increase audience engagement and facilitate conversations, the Business Meeting will be hosted using Zoom instead of a Webinar.
2. The MSOM Reception will be held on Monday, October 25^th, 6:15 pm (Pacific) in Convention Center 304D.  
   • As a reminder, for everyone's safety, only individually packaged snacks and drinks will be served.  We will take pictures of all the finalists and awardees who can be at the reception.
3. The MSOM DEI Committee (Anupam Agrawal, So Yeon Chun, Jorge Mejia, Chris Parker, Siddharth Singh, and Terry Taylor) is hosting a panel discussion on parental leave policies on Tuesday, October 26^th, 7:45 am – 9:00 am (Pacific). This is a continuation of the DEI session hosted at the MSOM Conference this past June. The panelists include:
   • Thunyarat (Bam) Amornpetchkul, NIDA Business School, Thailand
   • Javiera Barrera, University Adolfo Ibáñez, Chile
   • Maria Besiou, Kühne Logistics University, Germany
   • Fikri Karaesman, Koc University, Turkey
   • Govind Kumawat, IIM Udaipur, India
