    Dear Colleagues,

    I am forwarding the call for talks and sessions in the Global Optimization cluster one last time.  If you would like to participate, there is still time! The final date for me to enter you into the system is May 1, so please send me an email directly at emily.speakman@ucdenver.edu if you would like to contribute a talk and/or chair a session.

    Invitation below:

    We are organizing the cluster of sessions for Global Optimization for the INFORMS Annual Meeting in Anaheim, CA. This event will be a hybrid virtual/in-person to give attendees the most flexibility possible. For more information, visit the conference website.  We are interested in any applications, theories, or computational work in the area of Global Optimization and Mixed-integer Nonlinear Optimization.


    To register your interest in giving a talk or chairing a session, please visit:

    If you would like to chair a session, please enter the information in the "Sessions" tab and follow the instructions.  As a session chair, you would identify and invite speakers to present in your session. Each session will feature 4-6 presentations, one of which is typically your own. For the other presentations, you could invite colleagues from your own institution, collaborators from elsewhere, or researchers doing related work. The lineup for your session would be up to you.   

    If you do not want to chair a session, but you are interested in giving a talk in this cluster, please enter the information in the "Talks" tab and follow the instructions.  Talks will be formed into sessions under similar themes. You are welcomed to form sessions if you see talks that can be grouped together.  Please follow the instructions on the sheet.

      • Cluster Chairs Invite Sessions Chairs May 1, 2021
      • Session Chairs Invite Speakers May 1, 2021
      • Presenters Submit Abstracts May 15, 2021
      • Deadline for final editing of Abstracts August 1, 2021
