Industrial Engineering Faculty Position
Ozyegin University invites applications for all ranks in Industrial Engineering. A Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, Operations Management or another closely related discipline is required. Applicants must have a strong commitment to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, to conduct theoretical as well as applied research, and to develop and maintain active collaboration with industry. The potential for interaction with the faculty in the IE department and the Engineering Faculty will be a positive factor in the evaluation of the candidates. The candidates for Assistant Professor position must demonstrate the ability to conduct internationally recognized research. For higher ranks, an outstanding track record of research and teaching accomplishments is expected.

The Faculty of Engineering currently offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in Industrial Engineering (MS, PhD) and Data Science (MS). The Industrial Engineering BS program includes the following specialization tracks: Manufacturing and Service Operations Management, Transportation and Logistics, Decision Support Systems, Finance and Data Science.
The IE department leads Industry 4.0 Excellence Center (in collaboration with Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Departments) facilitating multi-disciplinary research on smart manufacturing systems, Industry 4.0 applications for manufacturing, supply chain and logistics in collaboration with Industry partners. The department is also actively involved executive education, offering certificate and degree programs for a variety of sectors including manufacturing, logistics, telecommunications, and banking/finance. Therefore, candidates with research interests in smart manufacturing systems, data science, data-driven optimization, predictive modelling are particularly encouraged to apply.
