Early-Career Best Paper Award:The ENRE Young Scholar Award is presented annually at the INFORMS AnnualMeeting to one or more young researcher(s) for authoring an outstandingpaper related to the theory and/or application of operationsresearch-management science methods to a problem in energy, naturalresources, or the environment.The award serves as a recognition of promising young researchers who areat the beginning of their academic or industrial careers.Eligibility Criteria:The author(s) and the work must satisfy the following conditions to beeligible for the award:(1) the paper must be submitted to the Award Committee Chair(Luce.brotcorne@inria.fr) no later than June 30th , 2021;(2) none of the authors may have been awarded his/her terminal degreemore than six calendar years prior to January 1st , 2021;(3) there is no requirement of publication; however, if the paper ispublished, it must have been published within four calendar years priorto January 1st , 2021;(4) the topic of the paper must belong to one or more of the fields ofenergy, natural resources, or the environment;and (5) the prize may be awarded only once in a lifetime to anyindividual, thus, no authors of a nominated paper may be a previousrecipient of the ENRE Young Scholar Award.Nomination process: ENRE membership is a requirement for the nominator,but not for the nominee.Self-nominations are welcome.A nomination consists of two documents, both in pdf format:(1) a nomination letter from the nominator confirming that the authorand the paper satisfy the eligibility criteria(2) a copy of the nominated paper.The winner(s) will give a short presentation of the winning paper in theENRE Awards Session during the 2021 INFORMS Annual Meeting.The presenter must register for the conference and will be responsiblefor the associated travel and registration expenses.The award includes an official certificate from INFORMS.------------------------------
