The Data Analytics & Information Systems (DAIS) Division of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineering (IISE) announces the DAIS Best Track Paper Competition. The purpose of this competition is to honor outstanding papers in research and practice of data analytics and information systems.
Eligibility Requirements and Application Process:
Each eligible paper will be reviewed by 2-3 external referees, each of whom will assign a numerical score using the following five criteria. For each criterion, an integer score between 1 and 10 (1 = Paper meets none of the elements described for the component, 10 = Paper meets all of the elements described for the component) will be assigned.
All eligible papers will be ranked by the sum of the weighted scores of external referees. Four finalists for the Best Track Paper Award will be selected based on the final ranking to make oral presentations at the 2021 IISE Annual Conference to be held online at May 22-25, 2021. The committee will select the winner(s) based on the review evaluation and oral presentation. All finalists will receive an award certificate. The winner will receive a plaque and a partial reimbursement of the registration fee, which is generously sponsored by the department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. The Best Track Paper Award will be presented at the town hall meeting of the DAIS Track during the 2021 IISE Annual Conference.
