Dear INFORMS Community,
Given the unique situation that we're all facing at this time, both here in the U.S. as well as internationally, the Railway Applications Section understands the inherent challenges and uncertainty that this presents to our everyday lives, let alone to our professional, academic, and extracurricular activities. As such, we would like to ensure every possible opportunity for interested parties to participate in this year's Problem-Solving Competition. In an effort to do so, we are allowing interested teams to register until the deadline of the final submissions on Friday, July 31, 2020. We hope this flexibility provides some relief to those who are interested in participating and the competition itself provides a welcomed intellectual escape at this difficult time.
