    The Math & Science Division of Babson College invites applications for a 2-year visiting, part-time Business Analytics Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow.

    Position Description:

    The program is designed for graduate students and postdocs who wish to get further experience in teaching and take a closer look at the scholarship of teaching and learning and its cross-disciplinary applications. Participants will strengthen their understanding of evidence-based teaching practices by exploring the scholarship of their chosen teaching topic. This is a newly created cohort-based program with a faculty mentor. The business analytics postdoc teaching position will focus on business statistics, analytics and quantitative methods.

    Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in teaching, and will be expected to teach a minimum of two courses per semester (four annually).

    Candidates who have recently completed a doctoral degree within 9 to 36 months of August 2020, or are imminently expected to complete doctoral degree within 9 months of August 2020, with dissertation advisor's (or department chair's) letter are invited to apply. The proof of the degree must be submitted within 9 months of the starting date (Year 1), or the position will be relinquished for the following academic year (Year 2). In other words, submission of the proof of degree by May 31 is a necessary condition to be considered for renewal/continuation of the position, starting September 1 of Year 2.

    The College does not offer visa sponsorship for this position.
