I'm pleased to announce the Beta release of the X-Supply Game (XSG), an opensource online platform designed for supply chain education through team-based multi-player supply chain simulation. XSG is influenced by previous supply chain games, especially the beer game, but introduces several new concepts, including: configurable network topology, ordering and shipping decisions and limitations, and triple-bottom-line performance measurement. The XSG name comes from the game's capacity to be configured in various supply chain designs, allowing it to model almost any "X" supply chain.
