    Dear Colleagues,

    We are organizing the Teaching/Pedagogy track at the POMS 2019 conference in Washington DC, May 3 – 6, 2019.

    The track is focused on research, practices, and new ideas in, but not limited to, the following aspects of teaching production and operations management:

    (1) development and delivery of new courses/curriculum that prepares students for essential skills for the 21st century
    (2) innovative delivery methods for new or existing courses
    (3) development and delivery issues concerning online courses, including Massive On-line Open Courses (MOOCs), and other new approaches
    (4) course design for student-centered learning
    (5) innovative teaching strategies for student engagement and retention
    (6) technology tools for effective student learning
    (7) lessons learned from new teaching strategies
    (8) outcomes based course design including Assurance of Learning (AoL)
    (9) integration of material within and across courses, disciplines, and programs, and
    (10) enhancement of practice/experiential learning.

    If you are interested in organizing one session or submitting a paper, please let us know by October 1, 2018.

    We particularly welcome topics such as,

    - Designing online courses
    - Innovative and interactive games
    - Supply chain analytics curriculum/course design
    - New technologies, case studies and teaching tools for effective learning

    The sessions can be delivered in papers, panel discussions, and workshops.
