    Kuehne Logistics University (KLU) in Hamburg, Germany, one of Germany's top research-based private business schools, invites applications for multiple Professorship positions in Operations / Supply Chain Management (tenure-track). We are particularly interested in candidates with an interest in one (or more) of the following areas:

    • Air Cargo
    • Maritime Logistics
    • Pharma-/Medical/Healthcare Supply Chains

    The final denomination of the positions will be defined in line with the interests of the successful applicants. The positions are full-time appointments.

    The professors will excel by conducting original and impactful research in their chosen areas, publish this research in the best management journals, such as those in the FT50 list, and create impact with this research in the business or wider societal community. Next to that, the professors are expected to teach and to demonstrate a willingness to engage in online teaching. Teaching will be primarily in the domains of transportation, healthcare supply chains, operations management, operations research, and/or supply chain management. Like other faculty, the professor will also take part in industry outreach and university service activities.

    Applicants need to have completed a PhD in operations management, operations research, industrial engineering, or a related discipline.

    Teaching load is attractive, with about three quarter-length courses as the nominal load, and may include teaching at the undergraduate, master and PhD level, as well as executive education. Language of instruction is English.
