    Title: Visiting Assistant Professor, Mathematics (COR)

    Position Summary

    The Mathematics Department invites applications for one or more multi-year non-tenure eligible positions of Visiting Assistant Professor that will begin on August 10, 2020. The preferred applicant is expected to be an effective teacher and will have a 3-3 teaching load in support of our M.S. degree specialization in Computational Operations Research (COR). Course assignments include graduate level COR courses in addition to undergraduate mathematics courses. While a candidate's research area is not critical, there are opportunities for research collaboration, both pure and applied, with other members of the department faculty.

    Required: A Master's degree in Operations Research or a related field.

    Preferred: A Ph.D. or ABD in Operations Research or a related discipline is preferred at the time appointment begins (August 10, 2020).

    Submitted student evaluations, together with letters of recommendation should provide evidence of effective college-level teaching.
