    The Carl H. Lindner College of Business, Department of Operations, Business Analytics, and Information Systems (OBAIS), invites applications for non-tenure-track positions at the level of Assistant Professor - Educator. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the positions are filled. Desired start date is as early as January 2022. Compensation and employment benefits are competitive.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Prior to effective date of appointment, the candidate must have:

    • Master's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, or related field
    • at least one academic term of college level teaching in business analytics
    • at least one year of experience utilizing one of the following analytic tools: R, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, or Excel.

    Essential Functions

    Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in subjects such as business analytics, regression models, data analysis methods, data wrangling, simulation methods, and data visualization.

    This includes course preparation and curriculum development, delivering course content and leading hands-on exercise labs, holding office hours, as well as grading and preparing assessment materials. Classes may include face-to-face and online versions. Additional responsibilities will entail participating in curriculum/course development, developing distance learning courses, education-related service activities, such as advising student organizations, academic standards review, and providing educational services to local communities.

    Appointment Details

    • Initial appointment is up to three years and can be Anticipated course load is 24 credit hours per academic year.
