    The University of Chicago Booth School of Business invites applications for tenure-track positions at the assistant or associate professor levels in operations management for the 2022-23 academic year. 

    Successful candidates will have outstanding research abilities and will be committed to achieving excellence in teaching operations management at the MBA level. The candidate must have obtained, or expect to obtain shortly, a PhD or equivalent degree in Operations Management, Operations Research, Management Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

    Booth faculty will be available to interview prospective applicants during (and around) the INFORMS Annual Meeting, October 24-27, 2021.  To express an interest for an interview (virtual) during INFORMS, please contact professor René Caldentey (rene.caldentey@chicagobooth.edu) via email by Friday, October 1, 2021.  Interested individuals participating in the October conference are encouraged to submit a curriculum vitae, job market paper(s), and any supporting materials by October 1, 2021 using the online application system at http://apply.interfolio.com/92216.

    We will begin formally reviewing applications on November 15, 2021 and strongly encourage you to submit all material by that date to ensure full and timely consideration.  We will continue to accept applications until January 31, 2022.
