    Dear Colleagues and Students, 

    We would like to cordially invite you to join the upcoming 2020 Virtual Smart-City Operations and Analytics Conference on Tuesday, October 20 (conference website).

    We are entering an era of great expectations towards our cities. The vision of "smart cities" has been pursued worldwide to transform urban habitats into superior efficiency, quality, and sustainability. This phenomenon prompts us management science researchers to ponder what a smart city means through our lens, what roles to assume, and how to benefit our society. The goal of this event is to facilitate such discussions and interactions by virtually convening a diverse group of leading scholars to share their cutting-edge research as regards smart-city operations and analytics.
