    The Department of Information Technology and Analytics invites applications for a tenure-line open rank faculty position for Academic Year 2022-2023 (starting in August 2022). We are especially interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and/or service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of Kogod's academic reputation. Depending on qualifications, the appointee to this position may be recommended for tenure at the time of hiring. Salary and benefits are competitive.     Qualifications. Earned doctorate or anticipated completion of a doctorate by August 2022, in information systems, operations management, operations research, management science, decision science, or other fields related to analytics, AI, cybersecurity, and data privacy. Exhibit a strong record or potential to publish research in top-tier academic journals. A successful record in teaching relevant courses as demonstrated by strong student evaluations of teaching or other documented evidence. A successful record or potential to receive external research grants is desirable. Candidates seeking an appointment with tenure should have a demonstrated record of achievement, including high-quality scholarship, outstanding teaching, and active engagement in academic and professional societies.  The search committee is especially interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and/or service will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.

    Responsibilities. Candidates are expected to teach relevant courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels in both in-person and on-line formats, and participate in department, school, and university activities. They should play an important role in expanding the department and the school's research portfolio in artificial intelligence, analytics, cybersecurity and privacy. Senior candidates are also expected to provide intellectual leadership by publishing in top-tier business journals and securing external research funding.
