The Faculty of Technology, Policy, and Management (TPM) invites applications for a tenure-track position as an assistant professor in Transportation Systems. The position is established within the Transport and Logistics (TLO) group, which is part of the Engineering Systems and Services (ESS) department at TPM. The TLO group strongly contributes to the culture of excellence which makes Delft one of the most well-known places worldwide to study transportation. One of the key ambitions of the ESS department is to study the convergence of transport, energy, and ICT-systems (e.g. in the context of self-driving electric vehicles), which offers the opportunity to perform cutting edge multidisciplinary research with high societal impact.
With our new hire, we have the ambition to maintain and further enhance our reputation as a place for highly influential research and teaching in transportation systems. Our new colleague is expected to begin January 1st, 2020 or as soon thereafter as possible.
