    AI and Analytics for Public Health is our conference theme, aimed at promoting the development of healthy and strong communities where we live, work, learn and play, and protecting the health of people and the communities, nationally and internationally.

    Please contribute your papers or abstracts (deadline for submission: Sept 30, 2020) and plan to attend the conference virtually, Dec 19-21, 2020. The conference will be open to anyone who is interested in participating in the conference virtually. An accepted paper (for a small fee) will be included in the conference proceedings, indexed by CPCI. Competitions for two category paper awards will be organized as usual.

    ICSS 2020 Best Paper Award Competitions

    • The conference will organize two category paper awards: (1) Best ICSS Student Paper award and (2) Best ICSS Paper award. Only accepted full/short papers will be considered for the awards. For the Best Student Paper award competition, the first author must be a student at the time of paper submission. 
    • When you submit your paper, please indicate which category of competition your paper would like to be considered.  You can only select to compete in one of the two awards. If you select to compete for the Best Student Paper award, you attest that the first author is a student at the time of paper submission.

     

    Important Dates

    • Sept 30, 2020      Deadline for submission of abstracts (1 page), full (6-8 pages) or short (4-5 pages) papers
    • Oct 31, 2020       Acceptance/Rejection notification
    • Nov 20, 2020       Final camera-ready papers and copyright transfer form

    Abstract or Paper Submission/Areas of Interest

    This conference presents an excellent opportunity for you to present your Service Science related research, education, and implementation work, to learn about the emerging technologies and applications, and to network with international leaders and professionals in the field. We sincerely invite you to submit a paper/abstract.

    Abstracts or Papers are welcome in any area of Service Science Research and Applications including but not limited to:

    • Public Health Service, Policy, Administration, Response, and Systems
    • Service Management, Operations, Engineering, Design, Innovations, and Marketing
    • Smart Cities, Sustainable Systems, IT and Service System Analytics, and Self-service Systems
    • Smart and Intelligent Service, Healthcare Analytics, FinTech, Learning Analytics, and Others
    • Big Data, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Data-driven Decision Making
    • Systems Modeling, Management, and Simulation in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Others
    • AI, Data Analytics, and Data-driven Applications in Health, Energy, Finance, Transportation, Sport, Governmental/Public Services, etc.

    Submission, Best Paper Awards, & Publication

    The conference welcomes submissions of both original, unpublished research (full paper, short paper, or abstract) or published work (abstract only). All submissions must be written in English, at most eight pages long (including figures, tables, and references) and submitted as a word or PDF file through the conference paper submission website: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icss2020. All full paper submissions will be peer reviewed. Accepted full and short papers will be published in the conference proceedings and indexed by CPCI (Web of Science).

     

    All-virtual Format Presentation

    During the conference period, live sessions will be virtually hosted only for keynote presentations. We plan to have 3 to 4 live, all-virtual keynote presentations a day. Live Q&A will be encouraged. 

    We will organize small sessions based on subject as usual. However, no live small sessions will be hosted during the conference period. We will ask for a pre-recorded presentation from each abstract/paper. All recorded presentations will be posted on the conference website, grouped by subject, with an author index. Discussions will be encouraged offline.
