I immediately thought of grocery stores when I read this press release. The findings about non-tiered customer loyalty programs track with my grocery buying decisions. At one of my favorite grocery stores (selection-wise), daily sales like 3 for $5 or $1 off are available only to loyalty program members. Because of registration complications, I didn't join the program and, consequently, I don't shop at the store often. Maybe I'll give registration another go!
