We have the great pleasure of inviting you to participate at AMASES 2021 conference (the annual conference of the Italian Association for Mathematics Applied to Social and Economic Science) and submit a paper to our organized session. At AMASES 2021 there will be:

§  Plenary Sessions (Invited Speakers, "Best Paper Award" Special Session, General Assembly) organized in remote mode by the DIGIES of the University of Reggio Calabria on September 13th-14th, 2021

§  "Distributed" Parallels Sessions organized in remote mode by the willing members on September 13th-18th, 2021

As in the AMASES established tradition, the purpose of the meeting is to stimulate discussion among scholars and practitioners, from Italy and all around the world, on different aspects of Mathematics applied to Economic and Social Sciences. Attending the event is free (for more info, please visit https://www.amases.org/annual-conference-2021-home/).

In our session on "Mathematical methods for sustainability challenges", we welcome papers presenting new theoretical developments, mathematical models and innovative empirical applications to tackle sustainability challenges. Topics include, but are not limited to, mathematical methods tackling the assessment of the three pillars of Sustainable Development: People (social sustainability), Planet (environmental sustainability) and Prosperity (economic sustainability). Theoretical and methodological challenges in understanding the determinants of sustainable development in key sectors (e.g., education, health, justice, water and sanitation, waste, energy, or others) will be welcome too.
