Hi all - I have just learned of the following opportunity.  If you apply to this, make sure to tell them that INFORMS sent you and let me know how it goes.  They are looking for a few good geeks, and I know INFORMS has that in spades.  (Note Aryng's ACAP certification is different from the INFORMS CAP (Certified Analytics Professional) certification.)

Aryng is a SWAT data science consulting company based out of San Francisco, Bay Area. We use a proprietary data science methodology called BADIR, that has driven more than $1b in impact for our clients including Google, Apple, Adobe, GE, BBVA, Abbott Labs.

To meet the high demand for highly skilled data scientists, we have a FREE accelerated 'Intern to Data Scientist' training program for qualified MS/Ph.D. students with coursework in statistics, machine learning, data science, deep learning, AI, who want to become a data scientist. It's a 6 week-long, remote training program where students get trained for 5 weeks and then apply BADIR on a project based on past client work for 2 weeks. Upon successful completion of the project, they earn an ACAP certification. Post ACAP, the newly trained data scientists are invited to do their first paid project with a live Aryng client, under the guidance of eminent data science thought leaders. If that goes well, they are offered a position with Aryng as a junior data scientist, working remotely or on client site as per the client need and their preference. Students need to commit 7 weeks to get ACAP certified and be able to sustain themselves during that time to qualify. If offered a paid project, the student needs to commit 6 weeks of paid project time on a client project.
