    CLINICAL SENIOR ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF BUSINESS ANALYTICS

    The Raymond A. Mason School of Business at the College of William and Mary is seeking to fill a Business Analytics teaching position in the Operations Management and Information Systems (OMIS) area. This is a non-tenured, fixed term, renewable contract position. Candidates should have a terminal degree in information systems, operations management, industrial engineering, operations research, business analytics, or related fields. The position begins in August 2019 and is contingent on funding.

    The successful candidate should be willing and able to teach courses in operations management, information systems, information technology, computer science, statistics, and business analytics. Those who can teach courses in Big Data and Machine Learning are especially encouraged to apply. The OMIS area offers a Business Analytics major in the BBA program, is active in multiple MBA programs, and has both residential and online Master's programs in Business Analytics.  Responsibilities of this position are teaching and service.  This position is not research focused but we welcome clinical colleagues who are conducting high quality research, and we are prepared to support the continuation of productive research programs. Prior teaching experience is required and candidates with a proven record of excellent teaching will be given preference in the selection process. Industry experience in operations management and/or business analytics, while not required, is desirable. An earned doctoral degree in information systems, information technology, operations management, industrial engineering, operations research, business analytics, or related fields is desirable.

    Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
