OR Exchange, the Q & A site hosted by INFORMS, is in maintenance mode (read-only, no new questions) and will likely stay that way or go away entirely. The software in use unfortunately lacks anti-spam defenses, and in the past spamming of it was brutal. So some of us are trying to create a site on Stack Exchange for OR and analytics questions and answers.
The
proposal currently resides in Area 51 of Stack Exchange. We are in Phase 2, which means we need to demonstrate "commitment" (interest in the site) by an adequate number of people. Every additional person counts, and we particularly need commitments from people with 200+ reputation at other Stack Exchange sites. If a Q & A site like this is something you think would be of benefit, please follow that link, check out the sample questions and, if so moved, register to "follow" the site and then agree to "commit". Also, please spread the word to your fellow OR enthusiasts.
