Cambridge Judge Business School (CJBS) is a highly ranked business school, located at the heart of an 800-year old University and within one of the most active and successful entrepreneurship clusters in Europe. Since 1990, the School has forged a reputation as a centre of rigorous thinking and high-impact transformative education.

The Operations and Technology Management (OTM) group at Cambridge Judge is a collegial and ambitious group of 10 faculty. The OTM group has developed a reputation for management research that is rigorous, original and consequential, as evidenced by a strong publication record, high profile media coverage, and the strength of its PhD programme.

The OTM group is looking to recruit a University Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor/Tenured Associate Professor). The group seeks to increase its global visibility further through its research outputs, including publications in top management journals, as well as placing its PhD graduates in academic positions in leading schools. The ideal candidates will have a record of impactful research, as evidenced by publications in top journals and a strong paper pipeline. They will also have excellent teaching experience on premium business school degree programmes (MBA, Executive MBA) and preferably on executive education engagements.

The OTM group is very supportive of research with real-world impact and is particularly welcoming of candidates unafraid to tackle 'grand challenge' topics in organisations and society more widely. The members of the group are actively pursuing research topics that inform their executive teaching and, in turn, choose research priorities motivated by problems identified through executive teaching.

Depending on the experience of the successful candidate, the appointment will be made at the University Lecturer or University Senior Lecturer level. The appointment is anticipated to start on 1 September 2020, or as soon as possible thereafter. The closing date for applications is 14 February 2020.
