The University of Texas at San Antonio Department of Management Science and Statistics Tenure-Track Positions in AI/Data Mining/Decision Science and in Supply Chain and Operational Analytics at the rank of Assistant Professor
The University of Texas at San Antonio Department of Management Science and Statistics invites applicants for two tenure-track assistant professor positions beginning Fall 2020.
An applicant for any of these positions needs an earned (or expected by the fall semester of 2020) Ph.D. in Business Analytics, Operations/Supply Chain Management, Management Science, Decision Science or a closely-related area from an accredited university. Candidates must demonstrate strong potential for engaging in high-quality research in Business Analytics and/or Operations/Supply Chain Management; publications in high-quality journals; and have the ability to teach effectively at the undergraduate, master's and Ph.D. levels. The successful candidates must demonstrate their ability to work with and be sensitive to the education needs of diverse urban populations and support the university's commitment to thrive as a Hispanic Serving Institution and a model for student success. The Department of Management Science and Statistics has 15 tenured/tenure-track faculty members. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
