    The Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto invites applications from qualified individuals for a full-time tenure-stream appointment in the Operations Management and Statistics area with a specialty in statistics and analytics. The appointment will be at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor and will commence July 1, 2019.

    The successful candidate must have earned a Ph.D. degree in Operations Management, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field and demonstrated an exceptional record of excellence in research and teaching. They will have conducted innovative and independent research at the highest international level, and be expected to sustain and lead an outstanding ongoing, and competitive research program. The position comes with undergraduate and graduate teaching responsibilities, including courses in Statistics for MBA students.

    Candidates must provide evidence of excellence in research of the highest international caliber, demonstrated by significant and sustained contributions to top international field relevant literature, presentations at significant conferences, distinguished awards and accolades, and other noteworthy activities that contribute to the visibility and prominence of the discipline, as well as strong recommendations by referees of high international standing.

    Excellence in teaching can be demonstrated by a teaching dossier submitted as part of the application that includes a strong teaching statement, sample syllabi, and teaching evaluations, as well as strong endorsements from referees, and strong communication and expository skills as evidenced by the papers submitted as part of the application. 

    A short list of applicants will be invited to present their research at the Rotman School to faculty and students.

    Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
