    Dear colleagues,

    It is our pleasure to announce the finalists of the 2020 Pierskalla Competition. We received a record number of submissions this year, making the judging process extremely selective -- we are thrilled to see the field producing so much impactful work, and we are very thankful to our committee of judges for narrowing down this pool to four excellent finalists. The winner and runner-up will be announced at the HAS meeting, and all finalists will present their work in a special session at the INFORMS Annual Meeting. Here are the finalists in alphabetical order:
