    The Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems within the Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business invites applications with a rich background in business analytics and a desire to facilitate interactions between industry and students and faculty. This position is a term faculty position with the possibility of renewal. Specific duties may include:
    • Working with partner organizations to solve business analytics challenges
    • Providing thought leadership in business analytics (demonstrated through the creation of white papers, blog posts, technical reports, and other forms of intellectual contribution)
    • Teaching business analytics and information systems courses
    • Representing the College and the University in business analytics councils and professional organizations
    • Assisting in the organization and execution of the annual Business Analytics Symposium
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Candidates must have a Master's degree in information systems, computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related discipline. 
    • The candidate must have at least five years professional experience solving business problems using a variety of analytical techniques, including, but not limited to, statistical and mathematical modeling techniques, machine learning techniques, linear and nonlinear optimization techniques, and simulation studies. 
    • For a senior ranking, candidates must have 6 years experience at an institution of higher education.
    • Must meet the college's faculty qualification standards for AACSB Accreditation.
    • Candidates are preferred to have a doctoral degree in information systems, computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Certifications such as the Certified Analytics Professional or the various SAS certifications are also desirable. 
    • Teaching experience with a high degree of student-industry interaction.
