  • 1.  Help shape the future of Business Analytics Education in less than 15 minutes: Please respond to survey by May 31, 2020

    Dear Colleagues,

     

    First off, thanks to those among us who have responded to the survey below. This is truly a collective effort that will benefit all of us.

     

    The Analytics Disciplinary Task Force for an AACSB and PwC-sponsored initiative titled "Management Curriculum for the Digital Era" http://macude.org comprises about 50 business schools from around the world.

     

    It is tasked with understanding and offering recommendations for course offerings in in Analytics/Data Science tools and methods, and Operations/Supply Chain applications of analytics. The idea is to align contemporary perspectives from both academia and industry.

    Interesting idea. I'd not heard of MaCuDE. The http://macude.org/index.php/tf-analytics-data-science/ page is empty, and apparently you're trying to fill it.

    I too had never heard of MaCuDE, despite being in a business school for the past 5 years. 

    Ravi,

    I started to complete the survey but then stopped, as I had some questions about the intent and direction of this effort.  Who are the members of the Analytics Disciplinary Task Force that I can reach out to with questions?  Thank you.

    Rahul and Scott,

     

    The initiative kicked off just a few months ago with the disciplinary task forces being constituted. As such, the website http://macude.org/ is currently being built out with more information on task force membership. I am leading the Analytics Disciplinary Task Force.
