Abstract:

Lincoln Medical Center, a member of NYC Health and Hospitals, is a full service, acute care hospital with one of the busiest and most recognized ER in the nation. Lincoln has proudly provided health care services to the communities for 179 years. As one of the early adopters of electronic medical record in the nation, Lincoln has managed data as a strategic asset with strong support from our executive leadership.

In this seminar, we’ll share our success and experience on leveraging the power of timely actionable data to drive transparency and accountability for process improvement on the journey of healthcare transformation. Case studies will be presented to illustrate how we engaged frontline clinicians, integrated data from multiple sources and developed visual analytics and real-time performance dashboard for ED patient flow management, inpatient bed tracking, pain management, proactive tracking on nutrition, skin and fall risks. We also welcome collaboration opportunities and look forward to working with interested members to implement innovative ideas at Lincoln for better care, better health and lower cost.
